For an East-Southeast facing beach, these are true offshore winds. The statistics show that while the average swell height remains stubbornly at 0.0m, the wind window is dramatically better during these months, with combined offshore wind frequencies peaking near 38%. This is the period when, if any long-period South Atlantic groundswell (SE/SSE) wraps in, it will actually hold up with clean, groomed faces instead of being flattened by onshore wind.
