From December through March, the SE-facing reefs see clean, consistent E/ESE/SE/SSE swell averaging 3-4ft (1.1-1.2m), with periods lifting from 9.4s to 10.6s as the season matures. The wind story is the real key: ideal offshore flow from the W-NW quadrant is present 48-58% of the time, giving the swell a groomed, rippable texture. This is the window when the combination of size, period and clean wind aligns most often.
