The catch is wind: NE (12.1 percent), NNE (10.1 percent) and ENE (11.1 percent) already make the onshore wind share high, but offshore SW/W flow still accounts for 26 percent and ideal wind sits at 27 percent. When the synoptic pattern aligns, October can deliver chest-to-head-high, long-period lines with light offshore texture.
