The average swell is smaller during these months, generally 3-3.5ft (0.9-1.1m), but the wave period is a long 12-13.5s and the swell is almost exclusively SSW/SW. With low rainfall, strong tropical warmth, and a much higher percentage of offshore wind windows, December through March delivers the most consistent and user-friendly surf of the year.
