With average wave periods climbing to 10.0-10.8s, these are not just windswell lines; they are powerful, organised swells. On top of that, the flow around strong interior highs frequently delivers offshore W/WNW/NW winds, pushing the ideal wind window up to 46-63% of the time. Expect clean 5-6ft (1.7-1.8m) surf, a drier feel, and water temperatures still holding at a pleasant 21-24°C.
