While SW still dominates at 52.0%, there is a notable increase in WSW energy (13.3%) and a sustained SSW component at 13.9%. This mix creates a more westerly angled swell direction, which for south-facing Point Leo means a bit more shadowing but also more variety in the lineup. The 3-5ft (1-1.5m) waves remain the most frequent, but the 5-6.5ft (1.5-2m) range now claims a significant share of the SW energy. Critically, the ideal wind percentage jumps to 22%, with NNW becoming the single most common wind direction at 11.1%. The offshore influence of NNW, along with NW (4.5%) and WNW (6.0%), provides far more clean, glassy sessions.
