Swell directions rotate from WNW/W in deep winter to WSW/SW by spring, which is exactly the window that works best for this south-southwest-facing beach. Expect clean, rippable surf in the 2-5ft (0.5-1.5m) range, with occasional bigger pulses when a strong mid-latitude cyclone fires energy across the Pacific.
